Shiv Parwati Sewa Dal, a Chandigarh-based social and religious service organisation, organised a special programme titled ‘Ek Shaam Bhole Ke Naam’ at Mata Mansa Devi Gau Dham, Panchkula, on Saturday evening. The event was dedicated to thanking and honouring the volunteers who played a key role in successfully organising the 19th annual Bhandara for Shri Amarnath Yatra pilgrims this year.

The programme featured devotional bhajans and a felicitation ceremony for volunteers who worked tirelessly during the annual pilgrimage. The organisation acknowledged their efforts in serving free meals, refreshments, and assistance to thousands of yatris throughout the yatra season.

(SUBHEAD)Recently, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, honoured Shiv Parwati Sewa Dal for its exemplary service during the Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025. An appreciation certificate was presented to the organisation’s president, Rajender Singh Samant, at a ceremony in Katra.

Speaking on the occasion, Samant said, “For nearly two decades, Shiv Parwati Sewa Dal has been committed to serving Baba Barfani’s devotees. Our volunteers work with full dedication to make the journey safer and more comfortable for pilgrims from across the country. This recognition is not just for us, but for every volunteer and supporter who stands with this cause.”

Shiv Parwati Sewa Dal operates entirely on community donations and volunteer support. Known for its discipline, selfless service, and warm hospitality, the organisation has become a trusted name among devotees participating in the Amarnath Yatra.
