Face2News/Chandigarh

The Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) is proud to announce a significant leap forward in enhancing urban mobility and commuter convenience with the launch of QR code enabled journey planning at interstate terminals and Bus Queue Shelters (BQS) across Chandigarh. This innovative initiative aims to empower commuters with expected arrival time information about buses and seamless journey planning capabilities directly from their smartphones.

(MOREPIC1) Upon scanning the newly installed QR codes at any of the designated Bus Queue Shelters (BQS), commuters will be instantly directed to the web page, wherein the commuter can insert his/her destination and get to know about the arrival time of buses in real time and also get information about routes leading to his/her destination. This dedicated platform will serve as a comprehensive information hub, providing crucial details such as bus routes, schedules, expected arrival times.

The integration of this technology is set to transform the way, Chandigarh residents and visitors to the city navigate the city's public transport network.
