NCC GROUP COMMANDER BRIG V S CHAUHAN REVIEWS NCC TRAINING, MOTIVATES CADETS FOR EXCELLENCE AT PM SHRI SCHOOL

Brig V S Chauhan, Group Commander, Chandigarh NCC Group, visited PM Shri Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-18, Chandigarh, today. The visit aimed to review the NCC training and other activities being conducted in the school, which is one of the oldest and only designated PM Shri Government Schools in the UT Chandigarh.

During the visit, Brig Chauhan was received by Ms Manjeet Kaur Gill, Principal, and Ms Anuradha, Associate NCC Officer, who briefed him in detail about the NCC training, participation of NCC cadets in various state and national-level training camps, and activities. The Group Commander also reviewed administrative issues related to NCC, including kitting, refreshments and logistic issues during NCC camps.

Brig Chauhan addressed the NCC cadets, complimenting them on their high standards of training and achievements. He emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and selfless service to the nation. He encouraged the cadets to participate in all types of NCC training and activities, which will enable them to develop their personalities. On this occasion, he honored meritorious cadets for their outstanding performance.

The Group Commander assured the school management of full support for NCC activities and visited the NCC motivation hall. The visit was an endeavour to strengthen the bond between the NCC and the school and to motivate the cadets to excel in their performance.
