(MOREPIC1)Chandigarh Minority Cell organized a grand press conference at Hotel KC Residency, Sector 35C. On this occasion, the new team (office bearers) of the Cell was officially announced.
The program was presided over by Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky and Minority Cell Chairman Asif Chaudhary. Senior Congress leaders, officials and media representatives participated on this occasion.
On this occasion, Harmohinder Lucky said that the team we have formed today will make 35 councillors next time on the basis of its good work. He said that our work is being appreciated every day.
Chandigarh Congress President Lucky said that the Minority Cell has always worked to strengthen the voice of the minority community and the newly announced team will take this mission further.
At the same time, Minority Chairman Asif Chaudhary said that the Congress party believes in taking everyone along. The formation of the new team is a big step towards connecting youth, women and every section of the society with the organization.
During the program, the list of office bearers of the new team was released, which includes Mohammad Usman Treasurer, Mohammad Shamim, Shahnawaz Malik, Samshid Ahmed, Haji Mohammad Abid, Dawood Ahmed Vice Chairman, Advocate Mohammad Zeeshan and Imran Khan General Secretary, Qasim Ahmed, Shaban Sheikh, Mohammad Akbar, Ghulam Nabi and Manzoor Ahmed (Jule Khan) Secretary, Mohammad Iqbal, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Furqan and Mohammad Abid Joint Secretary, Imran Mansoori Spokesperson and Zeeshanul Haq Social Media Incharge.
On this occasion, the new team resolved that they will continue to strive to protect the interests of the minority community, make a concrete action plan on issues like education, employment and health, connect youth and women with politics and strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and social justice.
The program concluded with a pledge by all the office bearers to strengthen the organization and work together to serve the society.
