SEWA HONOURS RURAL EDUCATORS ON TEACHER’S DAY 2025 “BEST TUTOR, BEST FUTURE” THEME HIGHLIGHTS THE CONTRIBUTION OF RURAL TEACHERS

The Sarvahara Education Welfare Association (SEWA), Chandigarh, successfully hosted a grand Teacher’s Day Celebration today at 10:30 AM in the Law Auditorium, Panjab University, Chandigarh, to honour outstanding teachers serving in rural and village schools of UT Chandigarh.

(MOREPIC1)The event, held under the inspiring theme “Best Tutor, Best Future,” recognized the invaluable efforts of educators working in underserved regions, often under challenging conditions, yet making a profound impact on their students' lives.

The occasion was graced by Shri Arun Sood, Ex-Mayor and Ex-President BJP Chandigarh, attended as the Guest of Honour. Also present were senior officials from the Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation, along with a large gathering of educators, students, and community members.

(SUBHEAD)Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, National President of NISA (National Independent Schools Alliance), expressed his gratitude for rural educators, saying, “The dedication of rural teachers is unparalleled. Despite facing significant challenges, they continue to nurture the future of our nation. Today, we stand together to recognize their unwavering commitment to education, which is the true foundation for a prosperous tomorrow.”

Addressing the gathering, Sh. Daljeet Singh, President, SEWA, said, “Teachers in rural areas are the unsung heroes of our education system. Today, we proudly shine a light on their dedication and selfless service.”

Sh. Ashok Rana, General Secretary, SEWA, added, “This celebration is our way of acknowledging the tireless commitment of rural educators who continue to shape young minds despite limited resources.”

During the event, several rural teachers were presented with Awards of Honour for their motivational work and commitment to holistic education in their communities. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute, reaffirming SEWA’s commitment to supporting grassroots educators and strengthening the foundation of rural education.
