GRIID ORGANISED ONE DAY COMMUNITY CAMP FOR CHILDREN

The Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRIID), Sector 31-C, Chandigarh, organised a one-day community camp for children under Sewa Pakhwada-2025 at the Anganwadi Centre (near Government Dispensary), Mauli Jagran Colony, Chandigarh, under the aegis of the Social Welfare Department, Chandigarh Administration.

A total of 30 children received comprehensive medical check-ups, including IQ assessments, conducted by a multidisciplinary team led by Dr. Reena Jain, Child Specialist, and comprising Ms. Raman (Physiotherapist), Mr. Prateek Goswami (Speech Therapist), Dr. Yashvinder Kapil (In-charge, CBR), Mr. Dinesh (Optometrist), Ms. Seema (Clinical Psychologist), Ms. Surinder Kaur (Clinical Psychologist), and Ms. Praneet (Social Worker). The camp was successfully organised with the support of Ms Sweta, Child Development Project Officer, and her team, who facilitated the programme at their Anganwadi Centre.
