Vigilance Police Station, UT Chandigarh registered FIR No. 06 dated 01.10.2025 under Sections 7 & 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 against Sh. Amit Solanki, Technical Officer, DRDO, Sector-29, Chandigarh.
The case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Ashutosh Singh, Branch Manager of Shakti Enterprises, who alleged that the accused official demanded and accepted bribe for clearing company bills related to manpower supply.
Acting on the complaint, the Vigilance team conducted a verification and trap proceedings under the supervision of SP/Vigilance, during which the accused was apprehended red handed while accepting bribe money from the complainant. Simultaneous searches were conducted at the residence of accused. Further investigation of the case is going on.
