India Post’s Chandigarh Division has announced an extension of working hours at 12 selected post offices to make services more convenient for customers. Now, people can book all types of accountable articles at these post offices until late evening. Earlier, these post offices closed at 4:00 PM.
From now on, Kharar Post Office, Sector-19, Sector-22, Sector-30 in Chandigarh, and Sector-55, Sector-59, Sector-71 in SAS Nagar will remain open until 5:00 PM. Morinda, Mullanpur, Industrial Area Chandigarh , Sector-12 Chandigarh , and Manimajra post offices will stay open until 4:30 PM.
This will help local residents, businesses, shopkeepers, and small entrepreneurs send parcels to national and international destinations in the evening. In addition, main post offices will continue to operate night counters. Chandigarh GPO will stay open until 8:00 PM from Monday to Saturday and on Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Ropar Main Post Office will remain open until 7:00 PM from Monday to Saturday.
Chandigarh Post Division will keep working to improve services and customer satisfaction, making postal, banking, and insurance services easier and more reliable for everyone.
