Face2News/Chandigarh:

With the objective of empowering the voices of workers, farmers, labourers, women, and youth, and taking concrete steps toward social and economic justice, the National Labour Party has been officially formed. Chandigarh — a city known for its awareness and sensitivity towards rights and public issues — was chosen for its formal launch.

During a press conference held at the Chandigarh Press Club, National President Neeraj Roy and appointed Local President Dr. Daljit Singh Chauhan jointly announced the party’s policies, objectives, and mission while interacting with the media.

On this occasion, Dr. Daljit Singh Chauhan said that the working class today constitutes the largest section of society, yet it remains the most neglected. The National Labour Party will be the voice of this section in Parliament and State Assemblies. He stated that the party’s philosophy is based on the principle of “Kaamgaar Bharat – Sammanit Bharat” (Working India – Respected India). According to him, the goal is to create a system in which every hardworking citizen enjoys respect, security, and equal opportunity.

(SUBHEAD)Under the slogan “The Voice of Labour – The New Identity of India,” the party stands on the ideals of equality, dignity of labour, and social justice. Its aim is to ensure political participation for all sections of society and to bring people’s issues to the forefront of national dialogue.

National President Neeraj Roy said that the purpose of the National Labour Party is to connect politics with public service, not to pursue the race for power. He added that the party is strengthening its organization at the grassroots level and plans to launch a “Jan Samvad Yatra” (Public Dialogue Campaign) in every state to understand the problems of common people and develop concrete policy measures to address them.

He further stated that the country’s workers, farmers, youth, and women will no longer remain silent. The National Labour Party will provide them with a strong platform that will deliver not just promises but real results.

Neeraj Roy also announced that the party will soon release its National Manifesto, which will include detailed policies on employment, education, healthcare, farmers’ rights, and social equality. He appealed to citizens to rise above caste, religion, and politics and unite for the development of the nation and the dignity of its working class.

He emphasized that the party’s guiding principle will be “Respect for Every Worker — That is the True Hindustan.”

Outlining the party’s agenda, Roy said that every worker will be guaranteed permanent employment, minimum wages, and social security; for farmers, there will be remunerative crop prices, debt relief, and promotion of modern agricultural technologies.

In the fields of education and healthcare, the party aims to ensure free and quality services for all citizens. Under corruption-free governance, transparency, accountability, and direct public participation in administration will be ensured.

To achieve social justice, equal opportunities and political representation will be provided to Dalits, backward classes, women, and youth. For women’s empowerment, the party will promote greater participation and safety for women in every sector.

To generate employment, the “Har Haath Ko Kaam” (Work for Every Hand) initiative will focus on skill development and promotion of small-scale industries, while under the Green India Campaign, the party will promote clean energy and water conservation to maintain the balance between environment and development.
