LRS DAV SCHOOL PLAYERS SELECTED FOR DAV NATIONAL GAMES

Five players from the archery team of LRS DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Abohar, Tanuj Chaudhary, Piyush Verma, Harsh, Pratik Yadav and Namit Bhardwaj, have been selected for the DAV National Games.

The school's yoga team secured first place in the 14-year-old category and second in the 17-year-old category. The 14-year-old category yoga team, consisting of Harshita Sharma, Vidhi, Udita, Srishti, and Nidhi, have also been selected for the national level.

Suhird Kaur and Gurmonsi won first place in the shooting competition, while Samaira Middha won second place. Risha Godara, Avneet, and Parminder won third place. Students also performed well in the 17-year-old cricket competition.

Principal Smita Sharma congratulated coaches Ravi Kumar, Rajesh Bhateja, and Poonam Jakhar. She said that the school has consistently excelled not only in academics but also in sports. The school's athletic strengths have been a key factor in this success. She wished the students well and blessed them for their outstanding performance at the DAV National Games.
