CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATED BY DAV INSTITUTIONS AT ABOHAR

Constitution Day was organized by the Red Ribbon Club and NSS Department under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan in DAV College Abohar. A call to protect the values of the Constitution was made by Principal Dr. Mahajan. Invited speaker Mamta Jangid from the Department of Political Science introduced the students to the historical facts related to the Constitution Day.

DAV College of Education, Abohar in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club and NSS Department organized a Quiz and Poster-Making Competition on Constitution Day. Principal, Dr. Vijay Kumar Grover appealed to the students to maintain respect and awareness towards the Constitution.

In the L.R.S. D.A.V. Senior Secondary Model School, the Oath of the Constitution was administered to the students by Vice Principal Sumit Phutela. Social Science teacher Naveen Sharma threw detailed light on the importance of Constitution Day, the process of its making and its role in making India a democratic nation. All the students enthusiastically took the oath of the Constitution and pledged to fulfill their duties towards the country.
