A team of Operations Cell U.T Chandigarh succeeded in arrest of one drug peddler namely Ishan Sharma S/o Sh. Subhash Chand R/o village-Bahot, tehsil-Sunder Nagar, Distt-Mandi, HP, age-24 yrs and 764 gm Charas has been recovered from his possession.
Case FIR No.152 dated 22.12.2025 U/s 20 NDPS Act PS-Maloya, UT Chandigarh.
On dated 22.12.2025, SI Satyawan 1649/CHG along with police party & ride in government vehicle and after parking ride in government vehicle they started foot patrolling and when they reached near bus stop ziri mandi chowk sector 39 during patrolling team succeeded in arresting accused Ishan Sharma S/o Sh. Subhash Chand R/o village-Bahot, tehsil-Sunder Nagar, Distt-Mandi, HP, age-24 yrs from ziri mandi chowk sector 39 and 768 Gram Charas was recovered from his possession.
During his interrogation he revealed that he used to bring the contraband from Near Parasar Lake District Mandi Himachal Pardesh and further distribute and sell it in the area of U.T Chandigarh. He also disclosed that, for easy money he started narcotic dealings at larger level.
