In a Press & Media meet held at GMCL headquarters, a Prestigious National Cricket Coaches Award 2026-2027 was announced by GM Box Cricket Association (GMBCA) & Gali Mohalla Cricket League (GMCL).
(MOREPIC1) Baba Inder Preet Singh, founder GMCL, said” Its a tribute to recognise & acknowledge the real hard efforts of Local Coaches at grassroots level who shape the future of Nations Cricket across India.Pan India State Wise these awards will create caoches profile awareness in masses about the hardships & years of dedication which lay the foundation of India's Cricket Aspiring Youth for future”.
Students can refer their Coaches profiles or coaches can directly submit their brief profiles at www.gmbca.org or www.gmcricketleague.com and after shortlisting they would be awarded for the same. Along with awards their profiles in India & Internationally too will be shared as a token of recognition for their valuable contribution towards cricket like never before.Further Delhi State Leather Ball Trails for the age group of 14 years-19 years and from 20 years – 45 years have been announced. Also 1st 8 teams from academies in the category of Under 19 will play exhibition matches out of which players would be selected for further GMCL league.
24,25,26,31st January & 1st Feburary 2026 have been planned for the trails & exhibition matches in Delhi. Along with Delhi , Uttar Pradesh , Punjab , Rajashthan, Maharashtra, Jammu Kashmir , Chandigarh & Haryana trial schedule will be announced on www.gmbca.org month wise going forward in Session 2026-2027.
Sukhwinder Singh Sokhi (Delhi State Co-ordinator), Rakesh Rastogi (UP State Co-ordinator) & Mukesh Chauhan (Punjab State Co-ordinator) too have initiated the awareness campaign for Coaches Award & finalisation of trials schedule in their respective states.
