Police reported to have arrested youth working as Karyana Merchant nabs with contraband 10.61 Gram Heroine. In this regards Case FIR No. 17 Dt. 30.01.2026 U/S 21 NDPS Act PS- Manimajra, Chandigarh was registered.
Police said on 30.01.2026, ASI Virender Kumar 1851/CHG PS Manimajra, along with other police officials while performing the patrolling duty in PS MM area with the objective of preventing snatching and theft in the area. While they were patrolling near beat box gobindpura at around 07:00 PM when they reached near Sadhna Vacational Training Institute, Govindpura Mani Majra Chandigarh they nabbed one person namely Shushant Sharma S/O Gulshan Kumar R/O H No 1882 Main Market Mani Majra Chandigarh age 22 Yrs. while he was possession 10.61 Grams Heroin without any license or permit.
The recovered contraband (heroine) was taken into police possession through a seizure memo. During the course of investigation, accused Shushant Sharma S/O Gulshan Kumar R/O H No 1882 Main Market Mani Majra Chandigarh age 22 Yrs was arrested and one day police remand has been granted by Hon’ble Court.
