GoI has appointed Kerala based HLL Lifecare Ltd as purchasing agency for covid vaccine and first order was placed om 10.1.2021 so far, In a RTI Query HLL Lifecare Limited vide its letter NO.HLL/CS/29-272/2022 dated 09.03.2022 has informed that orders have been placed for 171.684 crore units only whereas at the same time vaccination achieved 180 crores .
The Data Supplied me through RTI reply relates to period upto 4th March 2022 . Currently vaccination is still going on as such there must be sufficient stock also.
Keeping in view the quantity ordered/purchased. Vaccination used so far and adequate stocks available there seems huge data mismatch which needs to be reconciled.
How come vaccination could be more than the units purchased ,Is it optimum use or data has been compromised .
Till date GOI has ordered 130.1 crore doses of Covishield from Serum Institute worth Rs 26761.87 crores out of which 1176 crore has been paid from PM Care for 5.6 crore doses and rest from MoHFW funds. last order placed on 09.9.2021
Total 36.5 crore doses of Covaxin have been ordered from Bharat Biotech for Rs 7753.2 crores out of which PM Care paid 216.82 crores for 1 crore doses and rest of money came from MoHFW for 35.5 crore units .Last order was made on 16.7.2021
Total 5 crore units were purchased from BIOLOGICAL E for 761.5 crores and last order was made om 29.1.2022 and an advance of Rs 1500 crore was issued
Total .284 crore units were purchased from Zydus Cadilla for Rs 79.03 crores and last order was made om 5.3.2022 (SUBHEAD)
Unto 4.3.2022 GOI released and amount if Rs 27600.57 crores out of which 22468.54 crores released to Serum ,3519.26 crore released to Biotech, an advance of Rs1500 crore to Biological E and 112.77 received for Zydus nothing has been paid so far
Even if entire supply has been received from all sources the data does not match the vaccination approx. 180 crores achieved so far
AMOUNT TO BE PAID IN CRORES
*Serum Institute made supplies of 26761.87 crores but payments made for Rs 22468.54 crores till 4/3/22 thus 4293.33 crores pending payment
*Bharat Biotech made supplies of 7753.20 crores only 3519.26 crore paid till 4/3/22thus 4233.94 pending payments
*Biological E made supplies of 761.25 crores was paid 1500 crores in advance
*Zydus Cadilla made supplies of 79.03 crores was paid nothing till 4.3.2022
