BSF Kissan Guard Party, deployed ahead of Border Security Fence, in the area of 183 Bn BSF under Amritsar sector noticed some suspected items in the farming field on May 28.
On further search, 02 hollow pumps were recovered, which had come outside, while a farmer was cultivating his field with tractor. Both pumps were filled with suspected narcotics substance.
Further, during thorough search of the nearby area, 08 bricks with cavities filled with suspected narcotics substance wrapped in yellow adhesive tape were recovered.
The net weight of the recovered narcotics is 3.870 Kgs, valued worth Rs. around 20 crores in international market.
BSF firmly stands on its commitment to fight against drugs.
