Police achieved a major success with the arrest of a person namely Deepender @ Deepak and one more juvenile person. 19 mobile phones, one smart watch & two ear buds have been recovered from them.
On 21.5.22 complainant Kapil Dev S/o Parkash Chander R/o H no. 33, Adarsh Gali, Jujhar Nagar, Mohali Pb reported that during the intervening night of 20/21.05.2022 someone has stolen 20-22 mobile phones from his shop AKS Telecom, Quite Office No. 1, Sec 35/A, Ground Floor, Chandigarh by breaking the lock as well as glass.
Accordingly, Case FIR No. 105 dt 21.05.2022 u/s 380,457 IPC was registered at Police Station 36, Chandigarh.(SUBHEAD)
The investigation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO/South/West, the team of Police Station-36 & 26 Chandigarh succeed in cracking the case with the arrest of Deepender @ Deepak S/o Bhopal Singh Rawat R/o # 73, Ind Area, phase-2, Chandigarh age 21 yrs and also apprehension of one juvenile.
The investigation was carried out on different angel.
Yesterday, the police team was present in sector 35 market and saw two persons carrying mobile phones in a back bag and paper bag appears to be suspicious, the police team apprehended them. On questioning and after checking the mobile phones found to be having the same IMEI number of stolen mobile phones which are wanted to the police.
During investigation one person found to be juvenile and he was produced before the concerned authorities and sent to juvenile home. The other accused person namely Deepender @ Deepak was arrested and produced before the duty Magistrate Sh Parmod Kumar, JMIC, Chd. He is on police remand till 6.6.22. The investigation of the case is in progress.
