Cracking the Whip on the organised Sextortion Gang, team lead by Inspector Amanjot Singh I/C Operations Cell, Under the supervision of Sh. Jasbir Singh DANIPS, DSP /Operations and headed by Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP Operations UT Chandigarh, again raided few villages of District Bharatpur Rajasthan and arrested six more gang members of the racket, previously arrested on Friday in case FIR No. 21 dated 17.08.2022 U/s 419,420,384, 120- B IPC PS Cyber Crime UT Chandigarh.
FIVE TYPES OF PERSONS ARE INVOLVED IN THIS SEXTORTION GANG.
*Persons who identify the victim engage them in chats and further make nude video for extorting money from them. *Persons provide SIM’s for the commission of the crime.*Persons who provide the accounts in which them illegal transactions are being done.*Persons who are little good in communication skills impersonates as Police Officers.*Mobile vendors who is involved in changing IMEI Numbers of the mobile phones used in crime.
• First set of people who indulged in chating and make nude videos of victims by identifying them through Facebook and further extort money from them. • After that they threatened the victim & asked him to transfer the extorted money in a particular bank account given by them. These bank account are actually provided to the Gang member by (E- Mitras).
E-MITRAS: Government of India provided some link/ liaisoning officers in the Rural Areas to ease the banking formalities for the uneducated peoples. But here the E Mitras are providing the bank account of innocent peoples, whose bank operating access is with them. They withdraw that illegal money through that access and keep 50 % of the extortion money and give 50 % to the accused who has made the videos.
• The SIMs are provided by another set of people who take certain amount of money for providing that SIMs which can be somewhere around 10-15 Thousand Rupees. • E Mitars who are operating from the remote area ar also having the scanned finger prints of few peoples through which draw money or operate their account form wherever. • Mobile vendors who changed the IMEI No of the mobile phones involved in the crime by using laptops & the software’s installed therein.

*Ali Sher S/o Khurshid Ahmed R/o Village Palri, PS & Tehsil Kaama, District Bharatpur Rajasthan , age 24 years., Unmarried, Graduate, Involved in making nude videos.
*Altaf S/o Abdulla R/o Village Mohadamka, PS & Tesil Hatim, Distt Palwal (Haryana) age-19 years. Unmarried, Involved in providing bank account for illegal transaction (E Mitras).
*Shazid S/o Kamaal R/O Village Bedha, District Alwar PS & Tehsil Kathumar, Rajasthan age 19 years. Unmarried, 10+2 drop out, Involved in Changing IMEI Numbers of Mobile Phones.
*Talah S/o Abdul Jobber R/o Village Palri, PS & Tehsil Kaama, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan age 20 years. Unmarried, BA 1st year drop out, Involved in making nude videos.
*Sahib S/O Rehmu R/O Village Kaithwara, PS Kaithwara , District Bharatpur, Rajasthan age 19 years. Unmarried, 10+2 drop out, Involved in Changing IMEI Numbers of Mobile Phones.
*Satish S/O Sira Ram R/O Village Gazipur PS & Tehsil Nadbai District Bharatpur (Rajasthan) age 24 years. Unmarried, perusing Graduation Involved in making nude videos.
RECOVERY: Laptops – 03, Mobile Phones -13 , Paytm Card Swipe Machine- 01, Finger Print impression on plastic device- 01, Pass Books- 19, PAN Cards- 07 , Cheque Books- 02 , Adhaar Card- 22, SIMs- 13, ATM Card- 02, Cash Rupess 66000/-
Further investigation is on to break the nexus between different set of peoples duping the innocent victims and arrest other co- accused.
