A team of Police officials of Anti-Narcotics Cell, Dwarka District, comprising ASI Vinod, HC Sushil, HC Sandeep, HC Kuldeep, HC Ajay, HC Dinesh, HC Ashwani, and W/HC Sonu, under the supervision of Insp. Subhash Chand, I/C Anti-Narcotics Cell Dwarka and overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, has done a commendable job by arresting one African drug peddler and 64.18 gm of Amphetamine & 02 mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
As directed by Worthy DCP/Dwarka, the team of Anti-Narcotics Cell Dwarka is motivated and sensitized to develop intelligence and information regarding the drug traffickers, who are indulged in drugs trafficking in Dwarka.
(SUBHEAD)In this regard on 22/08/2022, the team received secret information regarding the movement of an African national who is indulged in drugs trafficking. As per information, the team rushed at M-Block, Mohan Garden, New Delhi and laid down a trap over there and the staff took their positions. An African national was seen coming from M-Block, Mohan Garden on foot, on seeing the police team he tried to flee but he was apprehended by the team.
M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS,DCP, Dawarka, said, during interrogation, he disclosed his identity as Onyeka Longnus Enyoghasi R/o Egbuoma, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, Age 38 years. During his search polythene containing white substance was recovered from his possession, which upon checking with the field testing kit was found to be amphetamine, weighing 64.18 gm. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 496/22 dated 22/08/22 U/s 8/21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Mohan Garden, New Delhi.
