Shri Vishwkarma Skill University with the collaboration of Gurugram University organized a programme on World Entrepreneurship Day on Wednesday at Govt College for Girls sector 14. In this programme the Chief Guest was Shri Satish Kumar from All India Co-Organizer (Swadeshi Jagran Manch), President of the program were Vice Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University Shri Raj Nehru and Vice Chancellor of Gurugram University Prof. Dinesh Kumar.
Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Shri Raj Nehru appreciated all the students and said the world has a large number of great entrepreneurs who have made it to the records of running their businesses from a very young age. He expressed his confidence that SVSU will encourage the youth to generate more ideas, startups, innovations as well as technology which will surely leverage the economy of the country. Shri Satish Kumar encouraged all the students and entrepreneur. He said being highly populated or having a large number of young population is not a weakness but a great asset. Every youngster is capable of becoming a job provider rather than a job seeker, thus generating employment opportunities for others.(SUBHEAD)
Dean Academics Prof. Jyoti Rana present the University Progress Report and Dr. Mukta Sandhu presented the report of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Centre for Excellence for innovative leadership and Entrepreneurship. Moreover, appreciation for recognition of Idea, Innovation, initiatives for creating employability and livelihood was given to Mr. Anoop Kumar for 3D Printing Project, Mr. Ankit Agarwal for Industrial Internet of Things and Ms Sonal Modi for IAS Academy.
Registrar of SVSU Prof. R. S Rathore appreciated the Organizing committee for organizing this event and all the Industry Partners for being present. He said that skill plays the major role to become an Entrepreneur. During the Programme all the Deans, Chairpersons, Faculty and students of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University were present.
