DELHI POLICE TRACED FOUR SCHOOL GOING GIRLS FROM AMRITSAR

On 24.08.2022, complainant Naveen reported at PS Badarpur and informed that his daughter namely ‘A’ has been studying in 9th Class of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec School, Tajpur Pahari Badarpur.

The complainant further stated that his daughter with her classmates namely ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ did not reach the school and none of them came back to their homes till now. So, an FIR vide No. 380/2022 U/s 363 IPC was registered at PS Badarpur.

Keeping in view the sensitivity and safety of the children, different teams comprising SI Rajeev, SI Vivek, ASI Ram Kumar, HC Jai Prakash, HC Manish and W/ Ct Moni were formed and investigation of the case was taken up with utmost priority. Close friends of the missing girls were examined minutely. Cyber PS and Special staff also assisted the investigation. During local enquiry, four juveniles were minutely examined and clues were obtained.(SUBHEAD)

Esha Pandey, IPS, DCP, said,  none of the girls was in the possession of any mobile phone so their exact whereabouts could not be ascertained. In the meantime, one of the missing girls contacted her mother. Her mother informed the police about the call of missing girl there after. The team contacted on the number from which the call was received.

Later, the team came to know the location of the girls in Amritsar. The team contacted at local police station Galiyara and asked them to provide a safe custody to those girls. The team reached at the location and took those four girls under its custody. Now, all the four missing girls have been brought to Delhi and further proceedings i.e. medical examinations, counseling, production in CWC/Court etc. are being done.

All the four girls have been examined but no offence is found committed with them. All teams engaged in the investigation have put their best and persistent efforts under the supervision of senior officials resulted into safe recovery of the children. Investigation of the case is in progress.
