CHANDIGARH CYBER CRIME CELL INITIATED COMPAIGN TO AWARE SENIOR CITIZENS

To make Door to Door campaign on Cyber Crime for the Senior Citizens successful in the City beautiful by officials of Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh along with Cyber Interns, in Parks/ Markets with Senior Citizens etc, falling in the area of all Police Stations Chandigarh.

All the senior citizen were aware about the Do’s & Don’t related to online cyber crime frauds like financial frauds, calling from Canada, Loan apps, calling from Electricity Department, Using of strong password etc. Senior Citizens cyber awareness campaign started at 04 PM to 6 PM at 16 places covering the area of all Police Station of Chandigarh. Approximately 300 senior citizens were throughout the city.

Further more, on Saturday Orientation programme for the parents of Classes IX to XII was conducted from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM at St. Anne’s Convent School Sector 32 Chandigarh in which approximately 50 parents were aware about above mentioned frauds.
