IN ORDER TO EXTORT MONEY FROM HIS OWN FATHER ONE PEROSN DEPICTING HIMSELF AS ABDUCTED, ARRESTED BY PS CHHAWLA, ACCUSED MADE A PLAN TO GET MONEY FORM HIS FATHER.

On 12.10.22, incident of kidnapping for ransom of one person namely Prem Chand Resodent Roshan Vihar, Najafgarh, Delhi. was reported at PS Chhawla. Seeing the gravity of the case, staff of PS Chhawla swung into the action and meet with the family members of the kidnapped person.

(SUBHEAD)M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, Dwarka Distt, said, during enquiry, the family members stated that they have received a call from their son Prem Chand’s phone and he himself stated that 4-5 unknown persons have kidnapped him and they are demanding Rs. 2 lacs otherwise they will kill him. On this the location of mobile phone was traced and the mobile was found active in the area of Dhankot, Gurugram.

After this the police team along with the family-members reached the location and saw a person on a motorcycle and was identified as Prem chand. The motorcycle was chased by the police and got succeeded in apprehension of Prem Chand. On enquiry, he stated that he was in need of money and he himself planned his fake kidnapping, just to extort money from his father. Hence a case FIR No. 451/22 U/s 387 IPC was registered against Prem Chand at PS Chhawla.
