ELDER ONE ABSCONDING COURT PROCEEDINGS SINCE 2020 IN KIDNAPPING FOR RANSOM CASE, YOUNGER ONE WAS P.O. AND Rs. 25,000/- REWARD ON HIS ARREST IN A RAPE CASE OF NOIDA, UP., ONE STOLEN MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED.

A team led by Inspr. Krishan Kumar, AGS/Crime Branch, on the basis of a secret information, arrested real brothers 1) Ashish Chauhan; 27 years and 2) Deepak Chauhan, 23 years both R/o Asgarpur, Sector-128, Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar, UP.
On 29.08.2017, accused Ashish along with his associates Vivek, Rohit, Vinod and Sunil, kidnapped a person with his car, on gun point, from GT Karnal Road, near Singhu Village and demanded ransom of Rs. 3 Crores. Where the team of P.S. Alipur traced the accused Ashish Chauhan along with his associates fired upon the police party. Another accused Aryan @ Vivek received gunshot injured in the encounter. Accused persons namely Ashish Chauhan and Aryan were caught from the spot. A Case vide FIR No. 368/2017, U/s 364A/186/353/307/394/395/397/332/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act was registered at PS Alipur Delhi. During the trial of the case, on 03/11/2020 accused Ashish @ Ashu was granted bail but later on he escaped from court proceeding and court issued Non Bailable Warrant against accused Ashish.
SEXUAL ASSAULT IN NOIDA
In July 2021, the younger brother namely Deepak raped a girl and absconded. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 978/21 U/s 376/506/34 IPC was registered in PS Sector-39, Noida, UP. Accused Deepak, his brother Ashish and sister threatened the victim for dire consequences. Accused Ashish was declared Proclaimed offender in said case and Rs. 25,000/- reward was declared on his arrest by Noida Police.
INFORMATION & TEAM OPERATION: A team of AGS (Anti Gang Squad), Crime Branch comprising of Inspr. Krishan Kumar, SI Sachin Gulia, HC Narender, HC Mintu, HC Pappu and Ct. Dheeraj under the close supervision of Sh. Naresh Kumar, ACP/AGS was constituted by Sh. Rohit Meena, DCP/Crime to nab the accused persons who are avoiding trial in heinous cases.(SUBHEAD)
On analyzing voluminous data, the accused Ashish Chauhan was traced and identified. He was deliberately evading his arrest and changing his address and location frequently. With the help of specialized technical investigation, accused Ashish Chauhan was traced and nabbed from New Ashok Nagar area.
Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime, said on interrogation, it was revealed by the accused that he along with his younger brother Deepak Chauhan was also absconding in a rape case of Sec. 29 Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar. It was also revealed that cash reward of Rs 25,000/- was also declared on arrest of Deepak Chauhan by U.P. Police.
Sources were deployed and it was revealed that accused Deepak is hiding in Sagarpur and Dwarka area. On an input received by HC Narender, the team apprehended the accused at Golf Course Road Dwarka with an Apache motorcycle, stolen from the area of PS Hari Nagar Delhi vide FIR No. 024180/22.
INTERROGATION AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:- Accused Ashish and Deepak, real brothers, born at Village Asgarpur, Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida, UP. The other Ashish had studied upto 12th class in a Govt. School of his village. Later, he started working with a property dealer. During that period, he came in contact with bad elements and started committing crimes. To fulfil his habits of drinking & smoking, and to live a lavish life, he made a gang with his local friends and started extorting money. He got interim bail in kidnapping for ransom case registered in PS Alipur and escaped from court proceedings. His other two associates have been convicted in the case.
He started to live in New Ashok Nagar area and working with local property dealers to earn his live. He was residing in PG with students so that police could not trace his whereabouts. He threatened the victim and in this regard the victim has also filed a complaint against Ashish and his sister. He was arranging logistics and also gathering their gang members for the same.
The younger Deepak, after studied upto 12th class in Govt. School of his village, started working in a call center at Noida. He enticed a girl working with him at call center and sexually assaulted her. After registration of case, he left Noida and started living at Delhi. He joined a graphic designer shop in Sagarpur area.
