The team of PP Tis Hazari Court in the leadership of SI Vijay Kumar consisting of ASI Mukesh, HC Vikender & Ct Utsav Dhama under the close supervision of Sh. Anil Yadav, ACP/Sadar Bazar, a robbery case has been worked out with the arrest of two accused persons and apprehension of one CCL.
The complainant r/o District Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, aged-30 years reported in his complaint that he resides near in Mori Gate, Delhi on rent basis and work as a manager in Fatehpuri, Delhi. In the intervening night of 24/25.10.2022 at about 12:15 AM, he closed the hotel and was on the way to his rented house. At about 12:30 AM, he reached at Petrol Pump near Rajindra Market, Tis Hazari Delhi. In the meantime, 3-4 persons found present there who began to quarrel with the complainant and robbed his purse containing Rs. 7,800/-, Aadhar Card, Driving License etc and fled away from the spot.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 532/22 dated 25.10.2022 u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at PS Subzi Mandi and investigation was taken up.
A dedicated police team led by SI Vijay Kumar, (In-charge PP Tis Hazari Court) comprising of ASI Mukesh, HC Vikender and Ct Utsav Dhama, under the close supervision of Inspr. Ashok Kumar, SHO/PS Subzi Mandi and guidance of Shri Anil Yadav, ACP/Sadar Bazar was formed to work out the case.
During investigation CCTV cameras were got checked and the lead from the CCTV cameras was further developed on the human intelligence. Consequently, two accused persons namely Mohit, age-20 years and Prashant, age-18 years were arrested and one CCL was apprehended on 25.10.2022. The part of robbed cash Rs. 3700/- was recovered from their possession. The complainant also identified the accused persons.(SUBHEAD)
INTERROGATION: Mr. Sagar Singh Kalsi, IPS, DCP, Norh Distt, said, during interrogation, the accused persons confessed about their involvement in the present case of robbery with the complainant near at Petrol Pump, Rajindra Market, Tis Hazari Delhi during the intervening night of 24/25.10.2022. During interrogation, it revealed that it was the birthday of accused person Prashant r/o Madrasi Colony, Mori Gate, Delhi, so accused Mohit and CCL joined him for kitty party. On the way they noticed the complainant was alone and they robbed his purse containing cash of Rs. 7,800/- and fled away from the spot. Further, the accused persons disclosed that they have spent some robbed amount for their fun and frolic in the market.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Mohit r/o Kucha Mohtar Khan, Mori Gate, Delhi, aged-20 years. He has studied up to 12th standard and he is a drug addict. (His previous antecedents are being verified). Prashant r/o Madrashi Colony, Mori Gate, Delhi, aged-18 years. He has studied up to 8th standard and he is also a drug addict. (His previous antecedents are being verified).
