A team of the Police officials of Anti-Narcotics Cell, Dwarka District, comprising ASI Vinod, HC Parveen, HC Dinesh Kumar, HC Ashwani, HC Lokender, HC Sushil, HC Ajay, HC Sandeep, and, HC Kuldeep under the supervision of Insp. Subhash Chand, I/C Anti-Narcotics Cell Dwarka and overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, has done a commendable job by arresting two foreign national drug peddlers and 1.277 Kg of fine quality Heroin recovered from their possession.
The staff of Anti-Narcotics Cell Dwarka is tasked to develop intelligence and information regarding the drug traffickers, who are indulged in drugs trafficking in Dwarka.
OPERATION: 01: On 26/10/2022, information was received by HC Dinesh Kumar regarding one foreigner namely Samual who is indulged in supply and selling of heroin and is currently residing near Holy Chowk, Hastal Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
Information was verified by the team. Accordingly, a raid was conducted at H No. A-2/14, Near Holy Chowk, Hastal Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. On seeing the police staff, the foreign national shut the door and run inside the room. On this, the staff breaks the door and entered the room and got succeeded in the apprehension of African national.(SUBHEAD)
Mr.M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, Dwarka Distt., said, on interrogations, accused disclosed his identity as Samual Uzochukwu Nnowaruom R/o Ozara, IMO State, Nigeria, Age 35 years. During the search, two polyethene containing white-cream colour substance was recovered from his possession, which upon checking with the Field testing kit, was found to be heroin, weighing 907 gm. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 681/22 dated 27/10/22 U/s 8/21 NDPS Act PS Uttam Nagar was registered.
OPERATION-02: On 30/10/2022, information was received by ASI Vinod regarding the movement of one foreigner namely Joseph who is indulged in the supply and sale of heroin and is currently residing at M-Block, Mohan Garden, Delhi. Information was verified by the team. Accordingly, the raiding team rushed at M-Block, Mohan Garden, Delhi and a trap was laid down. At about 03:15 PM, when police reached his residence, the African national was seen running away from the back gate of his residence in M-Block, Mohan Garden, Delhi but with the sincere efforts and alertness of the staff, Nigeria national was apprehended by the team.
On interrogation, he disclosed his identity as Joseph Ebekue R/o Uli, Anambra, Nigeria, Age 38 years. During his search, polythene containing white-cream colour substance was recovered from his possession, which upon checking with the Field testing kit, was found to be heroin, weighing 370 gm. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 607/22 dated 30/10/22 U/s 8/21 NDPS Act PS Mohan Garden was registered.
