Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Chandigarh Regional Office, organized a training session on Cyber Security and Cyber Awareness for the Investigation Officers and Cyber Interns (Cyber Soldiers) of Chandigarh Police at RBI, Chandigarh.
The training session was organised as a joint initiative of RBI and Cyber Crime Cell of Chandigarh Police after the interaction with Sh. Praveer Ranjan, IPS, DGP, Chandigarh.Sh MK Mall, Regional Director, RBI Chandigarh inaugurated the training session. Sh. A Venkatesh, DSP Cyber Crime, SHO Police Station Cyber Crime, Investigation Officers and 56 Cyber Interns attended the training session.

Sessions were arranged by RBI, Chandigarh Regional Office on Functions of RBI, Insights into IT Risk framework of Regulated Entities and Case studies of grievance redressal / cyber frauds.
A session on Internal systems and control in commercial banks was delivered by the speakers from HDFC Bank.
All the cyber soldiers were apprised about the Cyber Security measures to be adopted while using mobile phones, surfing on Social media etc. In total 60 Police official & Cyber Interns/students attended the training session.
