DONGHYUN AND MAYA DUTTA IN SEMIFINALS

Second seed Donghyun Hwang of Korea and sixth seed Shingo Masuda of Japan moved into the boys singles semifinals in the Chandigarh ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors at the Sector-10 Tennis Stadium here on Thursday. 

(MOREPIC1)(MOREPIC2) Boys singles. Donghyun Hwang defeated Ke Hau Hung of Chinese Taipei in a 3 setter deciding match 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. In the another Quarterfinals match Shingo Masuda of Japan beat Chieh Eh Hou Taipei in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. Timofei Derepasko of Russia and Se Hyuk Cho of Korea also advanced into the Semifinals in boys singles.

In the girls singles quarterfinals Maya Dutta of USA) upset top seed Suhitha Maruri of India 6-4, 6-2. Maya Dutta and Suhita played high level tennis in the first set, Maya closed the first set in 6-4, in the 2nd set Maya maintained her rhythm and took the set and match 6-2 without getting much pressure. Allegra Korpanec Davies of Great Britain defeated seventh seed Madhurima Sawant of India 6-3, 6-3 in straight sets. Lidia Fodgorichani of Thailand and Dominika Podhajecka of Poland also advanced into Girls singles Semifinals.

Yu Maeda and his partner Shingo Masuda of Japan advanced into Finals in Boys doubles. They will face against second seed Takamasa Mishiro and Satoru Nakajima of Japan in boys doubles final tomorrow.

Suhitha Maruri of India and Kitti Molnar of Hungary will play against second seed Lidia Podgorichani and Kamonwan Yodpetch of Thailand in Girls doubles finals tomorrow.
