TWO FOREIGNERS ARRESTED WITH RECOVERY OF 123 GM OF AMPHETAMINE

A team of the Police officials of Anti-Narcotics Cell, Dwarka District, led by Insp. Subhash Chand, I/c Anti-Narcotics Cell, comprising HC Lokender, HC Sandeep, HC Ashwani, HC Dinesh, HC Sushil, HC Kuldeep, HC Gopal, HC Jitender, W/HC Sonu, Ct Pradeep, Ct Mukesh, and Ct Shivram under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, has done a commendable job by arresting two foreign national drug peddlers and 123 grams of fine-quality Amphetamine recovered from their possession.

The staff of Anti-Narcotics Cell, Dwarka is tasked to develop intelligence and information regarding the drug traffickers, who are indulged in drugs trafficking in Dwarka. Secret informers were also roped into the area to get intelligence and information in this regard.

On 13/02/2023, secret information was received regarding the movement of two foreign nationals namely Uchenna and Bright, who are indulged in drug trafficking in Dwarka district and they will come at Gali No. 23, Bhagwati Garden, Jain Road, Mohan Garden, New Delhi to supply illegal drug. That can be nabbed if raid conducted timely. On this the information was verified by the team.(SUBHEAD)

Accordingly, the team reached at the said address and at around 06:50 PM, two African nationals were seen coming. At the instance of the informer with the alertness of the staff two African nationals were apprehended.

M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, said,  on interrogation, their name and address were revealed as Uchenna Loveday Ononuju R/o Ozara, IMO State, Nigeria, Age 35 years, and Bright Johnson R/o Oweri, IMO State, Nigeria, Age 28 years. During their search, a total of 123 grams of amphetamine were recovered from their possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 52/23 dated 13/02/23 U/s 8/22 NDPS Act was registered at PS Mohan Garden.

Hence, to unearth the syndicate of illegal business of drugs and recovery of illegal drugs further investigation is being carried on. Accordingly, PC remand was obtained of accused Bright Johnson. During the investigation, on 14/02/23, at the instance of accused Bright a raid was conducted to trace source of illegal drug rackets at Chander Vihar. Where, many Africans were gathered in a house. On seeing the police, they started running by jumping from the roofs. On which 04 African persons were apprehended by the team. On asking to produce their Visas but they were not able to produce their

ACCUSED DEPORTED: Kingsley Connect Abim R/o Orlu, , IMO State, Nigeria, Age 18 years., Albert Paschal Chinweuba R/o Anambra, Nigeria, Age 22 years., Philip Chika R/o Awka, Anambra, Nigeria, Age 36 years., Emelisi Ebubechukwu R/o Uli, Anambra, Nigeria, Age 36 years.

RECOVERY:  123 gm of fine-quality amphetamine., 05 mobile phones being used in commission of crime.
