67TH ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET OF GOVT COLLEGE OF EDUCATION CULMINATES WITH PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY

67th Annual Athletic Meet of Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh culminated today with the grand prize distribution function.

Stazin Sonam and Amrit Kaur were adjudged the best athletes among boys and girls respectively during the second day of 67th Athletic Meet of Govt. College of Education, Chandigarh. Mr. Rupinder Pal Singh, Olympian, (Bronze Medalist) 2020 Indian Hockey Team, was the chief guest during prize distribution. Dr. (Mrs.) Sapna Nanda, Principal welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion.(SUBHEAD)

Olympian Rupinder Pal Singh while lauding the achievements of the winners congratulated all the athletes who had participated in the sports events. He expressed his appreciation of the immense talents of the students, who performed with great sportsmanship. As witnessed today, events were marked by enthusiastic competition.

The Athletic meet is an annual feature of the college. In all, around 32 events were organized as part of the meet. All the events witnessed participation by the students of B.Ed., M.Ed. and PGDGC classes. A Fancy Dress Competition was also organized.
