Devika Rotawan, a survivor of the 2008 Mumbai attacks (also referred to as 26/11) and a key witness who identified Ajmal Kasab during trial as a perpetrator of the attack, was felicitated at a function organised by the Sarva Samaj at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Ashram in Hanumangarh near Abohar. She was 9 years old when she was shot in the leg during the attack in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai.
Mani Ram Karagwal, Gurtej Singh Mahar and Advocate Kuldeep Singh Aulakh felicitated the country's brave daughter Devika by garlanding her with a turban and giving mementos.(SUBHEAD)
Devika said that corruption begins with fear, so to eliminate it, fear must be destroyed first, it is necessary to end it. She said that there is nothing bigger than the country, if the country is there, then we are there, so let's fight the forces that hollow the country without fear.
The organisers praised Devika's thoughts of patriotism. They called upon the people to take inspiration from Devika. They said that due to the testimony of Devika, a dangerous terrorist like Kasab could be hanged, for which every countryman is proud of the brave daughter of the country.
