Konark Gunners under the aegis of Konark Corps organised a cycling expedition for a period of 17 days. The expedition was Flagged Off from Vigokot Fort in Gujarat covering a total distance of 1549 Kms through 75 border villages in Gujarat and Rajasthan, promoting the spirit of adventure and spreading awareness of Agnipath Scheme amongst the youth.

After successful completion, the expedition was Flagged in by Lt Gen Rakesh Kapoor, General Officer Commanding 12 Corps at Jodhpur War Memorial. A total of 32 personnel participated in the event.

This expedition was aimed to enhance outreach activities and motivate youth to join Indian Armed Forces and serve the nation with pride.

Interactive sessions were organized to provide information on various employment schemes during visits to border villages. The participants motivated students and the younger generation for positive contribution in nation building besides assisting them in career counseling.

The participants in the rally also distributed pamphlets containing entitlements to the Ex-Servicemen and paid gratitude to 'Veer Naris' and 'Veer Matas' for their sacrifice by felicitating them during outreach programmes.
