In the evening of 18.03.23 a joint raid was conducted by the team AATS and P.S Preet Vihar comprising of Insp K.P. Rana, ASI Arvind Kumar, HC sunil kumar, HC Rahul and Ct Ankit of AATS/East District along with SI Iquramuddeen, ASI Ved Parkash, HC Dharma Raj, HC Ram Singh and Ct Dharmender PS Preet Vihar on the basis of a secret information received through an informer.
Mr. Amrutha Guguloth, IPS, DCP , East Distt., said, the team conducted a raid at New Rajdhani Enclave where ten persons namely 1.Arun Nagpal, 2.Montu Jain, 3. Kuldeep Mittal, 4.Mohit Jain, 5.Sanjay Sarman, 6.Mukul Mudrega, 7.Vikas Jain, 8. Flitchir Kamra, 9.Pradeep Srivastava, 10.Vimal Gupta were found indulging in card gambling. Playing cards being used for gambling and Rs 8,74,000 cash kept as stake were recovered from the spot.
Accordingly, Case FIR No. 65/23, U/s 3/4/9/55 The Public Gambling Act was registered at PS Preet Vihar and above-mentioned accused persons were arrested. The owner of the property has been identified as Arun Nagpal R/o New Rajdhani Encalve, Vikas Marg Delhi.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Arun Nagpal R/O New Rajdhani Enclave Vikas Marg Delhi Age 45Years has studied till B.Com standard and having business of electronic., Montu Jain R/O Bhola Nath Nagar Shahdra Delhi -32, Age 42Years has studied till B.com. and has a private job.. Kuldeep Mital R/O East Ram Nagar Mandoli Road Shahdra Delhi, Age 43 Years has studied till 10TH standard and having own wire factory., Mohit Jain R/O Bank Enclave Delhi -92,Age 40 Years has studied till 9TH standard and having own business of artificial jewellery.Sanjay Sarman R/O Ram Nagar Ext. Shahdra Delhi, Age 49, Years has studied till B.A. and is in paper trading., Mukul Mudrega R/O Vivek Vihar Ph-Ii Delhi, Age 39 Years has studied till B.com and runs a factory of track suits., Vikash Jain R/O Pitampura Delhi Age 50 Years has studied till B.Com and working in the trading of waste paper. Fletcher Kamra R/O raj Nagar Ext. Ghaziabad Up, Age Years has studied till B.com and is working in furniture trading. Pardeep Srivastava R/O Vikram Nagar New Delhi Age 38 Years has studied till B.com and work as a constructer.Vimal Gupta R/O Krishana Nagar Delhi, Age 39 Years has studied till B.com and works as account manger.
PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT: Accused Kuldeep Mittal is found previously involved in similar offence and a case FIR No. 551/2017, U/s 3/4/9/55 Gambling act PS Preet Vihar is found registered against him.
RECOVERY: Amount Rs. 8,74,000/- Cash, and 416 Playing Cards have been recovered from the accused persons.
Further investigation and search of other co-accused is underway
