VIDUSH ARORA TO PLAY FOR SADDLEWORTH CRICKET CLUB IN GMCL UK

Abohar native Vidush Arora, son of Aman Arora and renowned music teacher and singer Surdhani Arora, will play in Greater Manchester Cricket League (GMCL) in the UK next month.

Vidush had a great all-round performance in the Greater Manchester Cricket League of 2022 while playing for the Friarmere Cricket Club of UK. He scored 833 runs in 26 matches that included an unbeaten 114 runs. He also played an important role in the team's victory in various matches by taking 39 wickets.

This time there was a lot of competition in different cricket clubs for Greater Manchester League to include Vidush in their team, but UK's Saddleworth Cricket Club finally succeeded to have Vidush Arora in their team.

Before leaving for the UK, Vidush said, “it is a matter of pride for him to be associated with a big franchise like Saddleworth Cricket Club, I will try his best to perform well for the team. My preparation is good enough, I am taking every aspect of the game during rigorous training regarding precision. To increase the range of shorts, I have done practice for hours daily. Apart from this, I also put in a lot of sessions in wicket-keeping.”
