Addressing the inauguration function of NWW 'Ravenwood International School' at the Seetogunno Road, international wrestler Great Khali said, “Education is very important in life. For the overall development of children it is very important to pay attention to their education first. For this, children need a good educational institution. The children of today will become the future of the country. Education is of utmost importance in our life, but along with studies, children should also participate in extracurricular activities and sports.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal said, “Education and general knowledge are those lamps, which can bring light even in darkness. If you provide good education to your children, you are paving the way to prepare good citizens to live in society in times to come.”

SSP Avneet Kaur Sidhu made a special appeal to the students to stay ahead in sports along with education. Intoxication makes a person hollow, so children should participate actively in sports activities while staying away from drugs, she added.(SUBHEAD)

School CEO Rohit Verma said, “According to the present education system, we should develop skills in children along with studies, so that the studies that children do, can also be useful for them in social life tomorrow and they don't have to wander here and there for jobs. In the present times, it is more important to make the concepts of studies clear in their minds than to make them bookworms.” Principal Ila Malik said that education is the key to success in life and it is the first step towards success.

Jagat Verma, Sanjay Verma, Girik Verma and Devyani Verma welcomed the guests. The first woman wrestler of India B.B. Bulbul was also especially present.
