An information was received in Anti Narcotics Squad/Outer District, from a secret informer regarding one person namely Rishi Pal R/o Mangol Puri, Delhi who supplies drugs in Uttam Nagar and nearby areas, that he is coming on a Red/Black colour Scooty to supply the drugs to some unknown person under the Mangol Puri Flyover.
On receipt of the information, a raiding team comprising SI Dharmendra, HC Praveen 2023/OD, HC Than Singh 1004/OD and HC Rupender Singh 815/OD was constituted under the supervision of ACP/Operations, Outer District.
The team reached at the designated spot and a trap was laid to nab the drug supplier. After sometime, one Red-Black color Scooty, TVS N-Torq, with a Rider and a child came at the spot and stopped. After waiting for about 10 minutes, when no one turned up, the Scooty Rider, along with the small child, was about to leave. The raiding team immediately apprehended the Scooty rider, who was later on identified as Rishi Pal R/o Mangol Puri, Delhi, Age – 31 years.(SUBHEAD)
The small child with him was found to be his son 'R' (age 06 years). Meanwhile, ACP Operations also reached the spot and the search of the Scooty was conducted. A red color cloth bag containing a small poly pouch was recovered from underneath the seat (Dikki) of the scooty. The substance in the poly pouch was checked with Field Testing Kit and found to be ‘Heroin’. On weighing, the pouch of Heroin was found to be of 100.50 Grams (worth approx. 25 lakhs in International market).
The recovered contraband of 100.50 Grams Heroin and Scooty TVS N-Torq were seized and a case vide FIR No. 279/2023 dated 01.04.2023 U/s 21/25 NDPS Act was registered at PS Mangol Puri and further investigation of the case was taken up by ASI Rajender Prasad. The son 'R' of accused was medically examined at SGM Hospital and handed over to his mother (wife of accused Rishi Pal). The accused Rishi Pal was arrested in the case.
Mr. Harendra Singh, IPS, DCP, Outer District, Delhi, said, during sustained interrogation, the accused Rishi Pal disclosed that he is supplying the Heroin for the past 3-4 months. He used to procure the Heroin from one person namely Santi R/o Aman Vihar and supply the same in Uttam Nagar and nearby area.
Further investigation of the case is in progress.
