The staff of P.S New Ashok Nagar have arrested one Farman 32 yrs R/O Kotla Village, Mayur Vihar Phase-1 for sexually assaulting a minor girl.
On 07.04.2023 the victim come to PS NAN and reported that one Farman has made relationships with her by extending threats of causing harm to her parents & has also refused to marry her.
A case vide FIR NO. 123/23, dated 7/4/23, u/s 376/506 IPC r/w 6 POCSO Act has been registered & accused Farmaan has been arrested.
(SUBHEAD)Amrutha Guguloth, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, East Distt, said, incidentally on 27/9/22, a complaint was received from mother of the victim regarding missing of her 15 years old daughter. A case vide FIR no. 620/22, u/s 363 IPC was registered at PS NAN. The victim was found then & during her medical examination victim had stated regarding sexual relationship with one Farman. But during recording of statement u/s 164 CrPC before the magistrate. she did not disclose any such incident.
Yesterday she reported that after recording of her statement in the previous incident, Farman has again made relation with her after extending threat.
Accused Farman @ Mylla, age 32 years is involved in 7 previous cases of snatching, theft, burglary and dacoity registered in P.S Pandav Nagar, Kalyanpuri and Shakarpur against him.
Further investigation is in progress.
