Kar Sewa has started to install Khanda Sahib on Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Marg that pass-through Abha Square from Jain Nagar Road to Nai Sadak. Baba Sucha Singh Haripura Wale, Municipal Corporation Mayor Vimal Thatai and representatives of Sikh organizations jointly inaugurated the work.
Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Marg Trust member Gurvinder Singh Vipan said that the work of planting saplings along with tree guards is also going on at the said road, while the work of planting Khanda Sahib has been started from today. Along with Municipal Corporation, Baba Sucha Singh and Sikh organizations are cooperating in the work.
During this, Ardas was performed for the welfare of all and after that this work was duly started. He said that with the cooperation of the Sangat of the area, beautification work of the road would be completed soon.
Baba Sucha Singh, Mayor Vimal Thatai, Councillors Nirmaljit Singh Richie and Jashandeep Singh Sandhu, Harinder Bedi, Davinder Singh Sangatsar, Advocate Tejinder Singh Khalsa, Bibi Surinder Kaur, Bibi Manjit Kaur etc were present on the occasion.
