UNIVERSITY & COLLEGE EDUCATORS' CONFERENCE INAUGURATED

The University and College Educators Conference on the topic “Educators – The Architects of Future Generation” was inaugurated at Gyan Sarovar in Mount Abu on Saturday.

BK sisters welcomed the dignitaries on the dais with badges and bouquets. A welcome song was presented by the Madhurvani Group. This was followed by welcome speech B.K. Suman, National Coordinator, Education Wing, RERF. Dr. B.K. Pandiamani Director, Distance Value Education Programs, introduced the topic of the day. A dance presentation by Akanksha and Kamya from Palam Vihar, Delhi enthralled the gathering. Candle lighting by the dignitaries marked the formal inauguration of the conference.

The dignitaries were honoured by presenting mementos by Dr. Nirmala and other senior BK leaders.

The speakers were of the view that India's age-old civilization and culture has been paving the way for the whole world. Leaders and intellectuals of different countries speak high about our culture. In the 21st century, the responsibility of educationists has increased further. There are efforts to make India a world guru once again in many fora.

This is possible only if the educationists join the campaign being run for the spread and promotion of value-based education. Values be developed in the new generation to keep them away from western civilization and culture. The Brahma Kumaris organization is associated with many public welfare campaigns being run by the central government. The organisation was making every effort to bring positive change in every field from this platform.
