BSF troops received information of a suspected packet in a farming field close to the deployment area and after a quick reaction could recover 02 packets of narcotics suspected to be heroin in the area near Village – Bahupur Afgana, Distt – Gurdaspur on Sunday evening
The Gross weight of the recovered packets is appx – 2.1 Kg. The 02 packets were tied in a single piece of cloth. A hook alongwith nylon rope (2 mtrs) and a luminous strip was also found attached with the consignment.
Vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempt of smugglers to smuggle contrabands.
