Face2News/Abohar.

Extending support for environmental protection on the occasion of Earth Day, the Apna Abohar, Apni Abha team organized a cleanliness drive on Hanumangarh Road.

MLA Sandeep Jakhar said that in order to enhance the beauty of the city, the Jakhar Trust will plant saplings in the dividers located on Hanumangarh Road (state highway) and they will be taken care of.

(SUBHEAD)He said that it was because of the cooperation of the citizens in this campaign that Abohar's name has been removed from the list of dirty cities. The MLA himself was spotted carrying garbage and dust on his shoulders.

He said that there has been a lot of improvement in the city in terms of cleanliness, but some improvements are still to be done, which is possible only with the active cooperation and awareness of the residents, they will have to bid an adieu to single-use plastic items. This will help in running the sewerage system smoothly. The Divya Jyoti Sansthan team served refreshment to all the volunteers.
