(MOREPIC1)On specific information alert BSF troops on Saturday morning launched a search operation in the outskirts of bordering village Daoke, Distt – Amritsar.
During search, troops recovered five packets of narcotic substance packed together as single consignment (Gross wt – appx 05 Kgs), from the farming fields of village Daoke. The contraband valued Rs. 25 crores in international market.
The consignment seems to have been dropped by a rogue drone.
Vigilant BSF troops once again thwarted the nefarious designs of smugglers to smuggle contrabands.
