The Motor Car Expedition ‘SAM NO VARUNAH’ reached Chittorgarh covering the entire Indian coastline. The Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA) undertook an awareness drive along the route about various career opportunities on Agnipath Scheme in the Navy and also at Sainik School, Chittorgarh.
(SUBHEAD)Outreach program was conducted at Bhagwati Seva Evam Shikshan Sansthan where the members of NWWA interacted with the staff & children and distributed daily essentials. Questions of inquisitive minds were answered by Naval personnel in an interactive session with the students at Chittorgarh.
The day ended with a visit to iconic and breathtaking Chittorgarh Fort, a UNESCO heritage site and one of the largest forts in India. The expedition showcased ‘Nari Shakti’ by participation of serving women officers and naval wives to motivate the younger generation to join the Indian Navy. They also interacted with Naval Veterans and Veer Naaris.
The Motor Car expedition will culminate at New Delhi on 26 Apr 2023.
