Fazilka Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal has clarified that as per Punjab Government notification dated 13th December 2017, truck unions in the state are already abolished and all truck operators are free to work as per their wish.

The DC has strongly reprimanded the miscreants and said that if anyone takes the law into their hands and harasses any operator, strict legal action will be taken against such elements.

Dr. Duggal said that the government has already abolished the truck unions in the state in order to free the transport sector from all kinds of restrictions for business development, so that the business does not face any problem.
