Prime Minister Narendra Modi shall visit Shantivan Abu Road, the international headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris on May 10. He shall address a meeting at Diamond Hall and lay the foundation stone of the second phase of the multi-specialty hospital, senior citizen home and extension of the nursing college to be built on 50 acres.
As per the schedule, he will be therefor an hour.
(SUBHEAD)Brahma Kumaris executive secretary BK Mruthyunjayasaidthat after becoming the PM, Narendra Modi is arriving at the international headquarters of the institute for the first time. During this, Modi ji will also meet the chief administrator of the institute, Dadi Ratnamohani. He said that the hospital will be ready in two years in a huge campus of fifty acres with a capacity of 250 beds.
Global Hospital and Research Hospital, Mount Abu director Dr. Pratap Middha said that fulfilling the social responsibility, a multispecialty hospital equipped with modern facilities would be developed on 50 acres by the Brahma Kumaris. With this, the facility of treatment will be easily available to the local needy people. Sofar,such facilities were available only in big cities. Special meditation rooms will be provided in the complex.
Mainly specialized units of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology and Urology will be started in the hospital. Renowned medical specialist doctors will provide their services here. Apart from this, there will also be facilities for Preventive Cardiology, Palliative Care and Geriatric Care (Senior Citizen Home). Also, in the third year, a target has been set to provide gastroenterology and endocrinologist treatment facilities in the hospital.
