The Punjab Government has declared the day of Bye Elections to the Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency i.e. May 10th, 2023 (Wednesday) as a paid holiday in the State.
This step has been undertaken in order to enable the employees working in the factories, shops and commercial establishments situated in the State of Punjab who are voters of Jalandhar, to cast their vote. An official spokesperson disclosed this.
