The track on the banks of the Malukpura canal passing through Abohar, shall be beautified to facilitate jogging to keep users' health fit.
Deputy Commissioner Dr Senu Duggal visited the track and directed the officials to beautify it. She said that the track built along the canal is very useful for the people of Abohar city and visitors from outside here for walking and jogging and it will be a great project in the lap of nature.
The DC said that street lights are being installed here to facilitate a walk at night. She instructed the authorities to build a gazebo, park, parking space, volleyball ground, open gym etc. She said that the track will be given a grand appearance so that more and more people come here.
Additional DC Sandeep Kumar, Executive Engineer of Panchayati Raj Department Rajesh Grover and other officials were also present during the inspection of the track.
