The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Director of Private Company based at Durg (Chhattisgarh); his son and then Statutory Auditor of the said private company in on-going investigation of a case.
CBI has registered the instant case on the orders of the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court (in WPA 13616/2021) and took over the investigation of FIR No. 02 of 2021 dated 02.01.2021 earlier registered at Police Station Burtolla, Kolkata (West Bengal). It was alleged in the complaint that the Director cum Share Holders of private company based at Durg (Chhattisgarh) entered into conspiracy with his son (Ex-Director of the said Company) & then Statutory Auditor of the said Company and in pursuance thereof, the accused forged some valuable documents, balance sheets & other documents of the said Company and used those documents as genuine for the purpose of cheating.
It was further alleged that the accused used those documents in fraudulently transferring 40000 Shares of the Company standing in the name of the Complainant to the name of the said former Director of private company which caused loss to the Complainant.
Searches were conducted today at the premises of accused at Durg (Chhattisgarh) which led to recovery of incriminating documents.
The arrested accused will be produced tomorrow before the Competent Court at Calcutta.
