The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against a Sub Registrar-VI-E, Libaspur, Swarup Nagar, GNCT Delhi and a Private Person on the allegations of demanding bribe of Rs. 55,000/- from the Complainant for registration of Will-Deeds of his various clients. It has been further alleged that the demand of Rs. 55,000/- was for the deeds already registered and @Rs.2000/- per Deed for remaining 7-8 Will-Deeds pending for registration.
CBI laid the trap and caught the accused while demanding & accepting bribe of Rs. 70,000/- from the Complainant. Searches are being conducted today at the residential & official premises of both the accused at New Delhi.
Investigation is continuing.
