FREE MULTI-SPECIALTY MEDICAL CAMP ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 17 BY THE GIAN DEVI NANDRAJOG CHARITABLE TRUST

Gian Devi Nandrajog Charitable Trust (GDNCT) in association with Dr. Anil Baghi Hospital is conducting a free multi-specialty medical camp on their premises on Wednesday, May 17. The camp will be held at the Gian Devi Vatika near Delhi gate in the city area.

At the camp, bone mineral density test, blood pressure, blood sugar, and ECG check-up will be performed free of cost.

Colonel SP Nandrajog (Retd.), one of GDNCT’s Trustees said that the camp will operate from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Specialist doctors including Orthopaedic Dr. Tejinder Bhalla and Cardiologist Dr. Anish Bhargava will perform free check-up’s. Needy patients will provided free medicines as well. Col. Nandrajog has requested that attending patients must bring along their medical records.

As regards to the Trust, Col. Nandrajog said that it was founded by his father, Late Shri Bhagwant Rai Nandrajog in the memory of his wife Gian Devi in 2002. The Trust built an environment-friendly, safe and serene park by the name of Gian Devi Vatika near Delhi Gate. He said that the park is the first of its kind in Ferozepur. Herein the elderly, adult men and women, and children visit the park daily to enjoy its facilities. He also added that his brother Lieutenant General OP Nandrajog (Retd.) was also instrumental in developing the park.

The Trust has undertaken many social projects in the field of food, health, education and people empowerment to benefit the community of Ferozepur.
